Zlog: Is it just me or does it seem like every bike from The Fix Fix Fix rides a conversion. I wanna see track dropouts!

Mission Workshop: VX Rucksack AP Series

Prolly: Mission Workshop gave me the heads up on their new VX Rucksack from the AP Series. You won’t find a link to this page on the site just yet though so read up:

“Featuring the Arkiv® closure system

The AP Series Sanction rucksack features the Arkiv® closure system and is made with a 1000 denier VX Cordura ripstop shell backed with a PTFE waterproof membrane. In addition, the Sanction is lined with a lightweight VX70 ripstop liner. All of which resulting in an exceptionally durable and beautifully constructed barrier to the elements.

The AP Sanction also features YKK urethane coated zippers, waterproof materials, an internal frame sheet and an optional waist belt. A large zippered pocket fits laptop computers such as the 15in MacBook Pro, 13in MacBook Air, or iPad. Five other pockets and compartments round out this versatile pack. Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.”

reviewed the Sanction a few weeks ago and with all the high-end additions to it, I’d say this is worth the pricetage of $279.

Beautiful Bicycle: Lauren’s Tokyo Fixed Bikes Dream Machine Cargo

Prolly: When I said back in February that the Tokyo Fixed Bikes Dream Machine Cargo would make a perfect girlfriend bike, Lauren agreed with me. So when the bikes got to Tokyo Fixed Gear, I picked her up a frameset. It came in the mail a little while back, but I never got the chance to shoot photos of it. She’s planning to build it up with mostly Velo Orange parts, so expect a bit of classiness!

Check out more photos of the Tokyo Fixed Bikes Dream Machine Cargo frameset below!

Thanks to Max and the Tokyo Fixed Gear crew for making this happen. Once the parts get ordered and it gets built up, I’ll share some photos with you guys.

Blog Introduction: Matt Lingo’s RecFail

Prolly: BoothbyMatt and I had a little back and forth on Twitter today that lead Matt to email me about his freshly launched site, Reciprocity Failure. Or as he’s calling it, RecFail. Matt’s been a staple in the FGFS community since the beginning as he documents events, riders and the brands that keep things rolling. To see Matt make the leap to a legit platform is awesome and one of the newest posts is a photo set of Boothby at Home Ave.

Check out more below!

Stay on top of RecFail for more from Matt Lingo! Also, props to Josh for rocking a helmet!

Brian Vernor: Recent Works

Prolly: To call Brian Vernor‘s work inspirational is a huge understatement. The guy does it all: phototorials, ad campaigns, videos, you name it. He recently updated his site with more of his recent works. It’s very impressive to see the brands that he’s been working for. You should head over and check it out!
